WTF,
Steve?!

Four fifty-year-olds. One HYROX relay. Absolutely no intention of acting our age.

…until we find out whether Steve was right about all of this.

Tony, Steve, William and Frank, arms around each other, smiling

Left to right: Tony, Steve, William, Frank.

Why the name?

It started with a group chat

William, Tony and Frank had a group called WTF, after the first letters of our names. Innocent enough.

Then, after a dinner involving copious amounts of Moutai, we decided to take on HYROX with Steve. Steve is by far the fittest of us, and would regale us with incredible feats of fitness. There was only ever one reply:

“WTF, Steve!!!”

And the rest is history. Now we’re turning 50 into the fittest chapter yet, and taking you along for the ride.

Brings the style, the moustache and a quiet belief that hip flexibility is optional.

The reason we say WTF

By far the fittest of us. Casually mentions feats of fitness that make the rest of us put our drinks down.

The mission

Why we’re doing this

Do hard things

Train for real events and show up for each other, especially on the days we'd rather not.

Tell the story

Share the journey honestly: the training, the setbacks, the wins and the ice baths.

Raise awareness

Living fully doesn't stop at 50. Middle age is a number, not a reason.

Give back

Where we can, we'll turn events into fundraisers for causes we care about.
